Designing a contemporary kitchen offers endless possibilities, and for one recent client, a turquoise color scheme was the perfect choice for their new IKEA kitchen. Turquoise, a bold and vibrant color, adds energy and fun to any space. Paired with sleek, modern design elements, it creates a unique and memorable look that impresses.

In this kitchen, we combined matte turquoise BODARP cabinets with white marble-look countertops for striking contrast. The clean lines and minimalist design of the IKEA cabinets enhance the contemporary feel, while the turquoise color adds personality and playfulness. Complementing the bold color scheme, we chose stainless steel appliances and matte black hardware.

The backsplash features simple white subway tiles that beautifully contrast with the turquoise cabinets. This timeless design element balances the bold color scheme, preventing it from feeling overwhelming. Overall, this contemporary IKEA kitchen is a stunning example of how color and design can work together to create a truly unique and functional space.
